What size Bucket Hat

How to determine the size of a bucket hat

Choosing the right size Bucket Hat is one of the key steps in getting the best Bucket Hat that suits you. Choosing the right size will depend a-lot on the circumference of your head. Here are some general tips and tricks that we use to get the best fit.

  1. Measure Your Head Circumference:

    • Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around your head to get an accurate measurement - It should be measuring the exact placcement of the Bucket Hat when you where it.

    • Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight. Dont want to burst a blood vessel!

  2. Check Size Chart:

    • Bucket hats often come in sizes like Small, Medium, Large, etc., or in numerical sizes (e.g., 56cm, 58cm, etc.). Here is a good example

    • Use the Circumference that you just measured and add 2cm this is the best fitting hat size for you - try and get something as close to this measurement.

  3. Fit Considerations:

    • Bucket hats are meant to be worn through out the day, this means it cannot be too tight (you will get a headache) and cant be too loose (it will fly off)

    • If you're between sizes, consider whether or not you want a tighter or looser fit. Consider what season you are in?

  4. Try It On:

    • If possible before you buy the bucket hat try it on! if they have multiple size’s try all of them on. See when we have events for you to try some on.

    • Pay attention to how it sits on your head and whether it covers your ears comfortably if that's your preference.

By following these steps you are ensuring that the Bucket Hat you choose will be the perfect size will it be the perfect design though? Check out how we style in Bucket Hats
